A hint of southern France in Burgenland

Turkey slices with herbs de Provence:

Ingredients:
500 g turkey fillet
2 onions
2 cloves of garlic
1 yellow pepper
250 grams of mushrooms
1 tsp herbs de Provence
200 ml cream salt and pepper
2 tbsp olive oil

Preparation: Cut the turkey fillet into thin strips and season with salt and pepper. Peel and finely chop onions and garlic cloves. Cut the peppers into small cubes. Clean the mushrooms and cut them in slices. Heat the olive oil in a pan and sear the turkey fillet all over, then remove from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, sauté the onions and garlic, add the peppers and mushrooms and season with herbs de Provence. Fry everything for about 5 minutes. Return the seared turkey fillet to the pan and add the cream. Let everything simmer for another 5 minutes until the cream has thickened a bit. Season with salt and pepper and serve.

Pasta, rice or potatoes go well with it as a side dish. Bon appetit!
